Christmas Remains Local and Square for 2015

By Jessica Callis

LEBANON, Tenn. — Small town business owners and the Wilson County Chamber of Commerce hope to make Christmas on Lebanon’s Public Square brighter than ever before this year with activities planned for the entire family to enjoy at 4.pm. on Dec. 12.

Dreams Boutique LLC, co-owned by Jesse Fisher, is a clothing store that offers active wear, loungewear, intimates and trendy apparel for all women alike. Dreams Boutique, which is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, has planned many exciting things to make this holiday season fun and memorable. Santa Clause, himself, will make an entrance to the event on a bright red fire engine. There will be s’mores to be roasted, hot chocolate will be available to help keep patron’s warm, and horse and carriage rides to all those who plan to attend.
Dreams Boutique was established in the fall of 2011, and it hopes to continue to grow during the ongoing improvements of the Public Square. Dreams Boutique, along with fellow Public Square merchants, will be having sidewalk sales in hopes of keeping local shoppers happy, as well as attracting new shoppers to the area. The makeover of the Public Square, which involves the city, the chamber and the businesses, is having an impact on its overall feel and appearance.
“There will also be live music at the Christmas on the Square Event,” said Fisher. The Lebanon High School Band will be in attendance, as will other musicians and a country music artist. The contract is still in the works, so I cannot release that name at this point.”
Dreams Boutique and the Chamber of Commerce have organized the music, and Fisher was very up beat and excited about the event to come. For more information about the event, visit https://www.lebanonwilsonchamber.com/chamber-events-lwcc/month.calendar/2015/12/01/-.
